I found the article about Samuel Mamane's TVs and videos a bit odd (The Argus, September 12). Did Mr Mamane really expect a genuine bargain? While shopping on the Sackville Trading Estate, I was offered a similar eight TVs and ten videos but, seeing the van and the people's appearance, declined.
I am not one to laugh at anyone's misfortune but, really, there is no such thing as a bargain.
