Hen nights have become big business in Brighton, the ideal place for girls to have a good time when one of their number gets spliced.
But some parties are so rowdy restaurants have banned them, saying they spoil the ambience for other diners.
There's still plenty of places that will take them. One reason why women whoop it up is that most of them (and their husbands) know things will be different once they have a young brood.
All too often, when they are invited to hen parties, they have to chicken out.
