A teenager was dragged along a road by three youths as he was walking his dog.

The 15-year-old boy was in Woodmans Hill, Broadfield, Crawley, when he was approached from behind by three teenagers. They tripped him up and dragged him a metre down the road, causing a graze above his right eye.

The youths made no attempt to steal from their victim during the unprovoked attack.

Two of the youths were black, aged 15 and 5ft 2in. One was wearing a black Eisennegger coat, black jeans and light coloured trainers and the other was wearing a black jacket and white jeans.

The third offender was white, aged 14 or 15, and wore a white Nike jumper with green sleeves, black jeans and white trainers.

PC Steve Corbett is appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened on September 10, at 6.50pm, to phone him on 0845 6070999.
