Developed by the makers of Easy CD Creator, the software is suitable for home office and small businesses.

Although the interface rather uninspired, this package is easy to understand and a useful system tool that could save hours of unnecessary work and grief.

Without a problem to resolve, it was hard to review this software objectively.

It performed exactly the way it was described on the box and delivered my files exactly the way they were an hour before the tests.

How well it would work when the user is under pressure remains to be seen, although I would be quietly confident that I could actually recover a crashed system without too much grief.

Advantages for most users include being able to fix your PC without knowing what went wrong.

The system can even be recovered when Windows crashes and there is no need for a Windows boot disc either.

It is faster than most external back-up systems but I am uneasy about the wisdom of making back-ups on the same disc as the data.

One disc failure spells disaster.

On a more positive note, the software is password-protected, so all data held in the files is secure.
