A Film-maker is loading up his motorbike for a trip across Europe to shoot a TV programme.
Peter Fuller's 1994 Triumph Tiger will be weighed down with wet suit, diving kit, camera, film equipment, tent, sleeping bag, camping gear and his personal baggage for the 3,000-mile round trip to Croatia.
Mr Fuller, 32, of St Aubyn's, Hove, is a keen motorcyclist and qualified dive master. The pilot episode of Bike Trips With Tadpole will be the first film he has made on his own and he hopes his trip will lead to a regular television series portraying life underwater.
He said: "Tadpole is my diving nickname. This programme will be about me travelling by myself through Europe to Croatia and then scuba-diving in some unusual locations.
"What I want to portray is interesting places to dive rather than all the places where the tourists go.
"Croatia has an incredible coastline with hundreds of islands. Three warships were sunk there during the war and I'd like to dive down to see them.
"I'm interested to see a country that's had a war and a lot of hardship and how the people there are coping and getting themselves back on their feet.
"I've always dreamt about making my own films and trying to bring the underwater world back on to television. There's been nothing regular since Jacques Cousteau."
Mr Fuller chose the 900cc Triumph to take on his trip because he wanted to "fly the flag for the British bike industry".
He is spending £6,000 of his own money on the pilot and will offer it to the BBC, Channel 4 and the Disney Channel.
If it is taken up, he plans to make 11 more programmes in the series.
Mr Fuller leaves for Croatia on Friday.
