A father, daughter and son act helped Crawley retained the overall Sussex Club Swimming Relay Championship crown in their own pool.
Dad Alan, aged 48, who competed in the 17 and over, joined offspring Greg, 12, and Heather, nine.
Manager Tim Hartley said: "We were one short and, although the rest of the team were kids, Alan kindly stepped in and his time compared favourably with the one Greg posted."
Former Sussex swimmer Alan added: "I coach at the club and my children reckon I'm not worth listening too.
"But they weren't embarrassed by me swimming alongside their mates. But I certainly felt my age in the end, giving away about 30 years and swimming in freestyle and medley events."
Crawley scored 51 points with Haywards Heath (29) runners-up and Hailsham (27) third. They scored a hat-trick of victories in the 15/16-year-olds' medley and freestyle, plus the 17 and overs' medley.
