Two out of four Sussex sides made it through to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Peter Brackley scored a hat-trick as Lewes won 6-3 in their replay against Dr Martens League eastern division outfit Sittingbourne at the Dripping Pan.
Brackley opened the scoring on 34 minutes when he converted a Sam Francis cross from close range.
Two minutes from half time Sittingbourne goalkeeper Dean Harpley conceded a penalty and Brackley made it 2-0 from the spot and then Brackley completed his hat-trick with another penalty in first half stoppage time after Francis was brought down..
Sittingbourne reduced the deficit with goals from Bradley Spice and Neil Miller but Justin Harris made it 4-2 with a 68th minute striker.
Twelve minutes from time Sittingbourne's Leigh Hales finished well to reduce the gap to a single goal again but Lewes wrapped up victory with strikes from Francis and Dominic Shepherd in the closing stages.
Hassocks went through 3-0 away to Ash United with all the goals coming in the final 20 minutes through Marc Rendell, an own goal and James Laing.
Horsham YMCA lost 2-0 away to Thame United while Littlehampton went out 3-0 at Gosport Borough where former Bognor striker Neil Scammell scored twice.
