A driver escaped with minor injuries today after his car span off the road and overturned in a ploughed field.
Police said the driver, in his mid-30s, lost control of his vehicle in wet conditions at Saddlescombe, near Pyecombe.
An ambulance crew and police went to the scene but the driver was able to release himself unaided.
He was taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries and shock. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened at 8am.
