A £21 million deal has been struck over a shopping centre.
Chartwell Land, the property branch of the Kingfisher Group which owns B&Q and Woolworths, has bought London Road Retail Park, which is in Crawley.
The retail park is home to DIY store B&Q, furniture supermarket MFI and CarpetRight.
It is on a prime site next to Crawley Leisure Park.
It covers more than 7,000 square metres and has parking spaces for 368 cars.
Chartwell Land is the fourth largest owner of retail warehouse space in the UK and has a portfolio of more than £800 million.
Company spokesman Mark Creedy said: "We hope it is going to be a very good investment.
"At the moment we have got no immediate plans for expansion.
"But, as with all Chartwell Land schemes, we will listen closely to the retailers to see if they have any further requirements or want to make any changes.
"It is also hoped we will have a strong rental growth."
The deal is not expected to have any immediate effect on stores already trading on the site.
An MFI spokesman said: "We have got a long lease on the building.
"It is just a change of landlord."
