Dozens of floral tributes have been laid outside the American Express offices in Brighton for victims of New York's terrorist attack.
The firm had offices in the World Trade Centre and owned a neighbouring skyscraper, the American Express Building.
Grieving staff at the offices in Edward Street have laid flowers outside the building and written messages of sympathy and support for their American counterparts.
Tributes and flowers for the victims have also been left outside the building by other local businesses.
Caroline Lombardelli, senior vice-president of European customer services at American Express, said: "We extend our deepest sympathy to the friends and relatives of all those affected by these tragic events. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
