Superintendent Graham Cox has called for a second permanent site for travellers in Brighton in addition to the one at Horsdean, which has 23 pitches (The Argus, September 18). What next? When that one is full, will he call for a third, fourth, fifth or sixth? What's the matter with the man?
Brighton will have more travellers than citizens soon. Perhaps we should all buy caravans and old lorries and fill the countryside with rubbish and stop paying what law-abiding people pay to live legally in Brighton and Hove.
The sooner we rid our city of these people, who ruin the beauty and peace of our remaining public land, the better.
