I must congratulate all the staff on the Newhaven Seacat ferries.
I travelled to Dieppe on Thursday, September 13. On departing from Dieppe, the wind changed and the crossing was very rough, so the journey had to take longer.
We had only been sailing for about ten minutes when I became ill. The staff bought out cold flannels and cushions for me to lay on. My friend, who stayed with me all the time, said they were running around all night looking after people. When we were near Newhaven, I felt a lot better but was freezing cold, so one of the staff gave me her own coat and covered it over me. I have travelled before - not on Seacat - and been ill but have never been helped by the staff. Thank you very much, Seacat.
