Police have visited a language school in Sussex to ensure Muslim students have not suffered harassment after the terrorist atrocities in the United States.
A Sussex Police spokesman said officers had visited a "language school for teacher training" in the Crowborough area.
Local officers decided to visit after a spate of recent attacks on Muslims elsewhere in the country.
The spokesman said there had been no complaints of any trouble at the college and declined to name the establishment.
The spokesman denied the visit was connected with reports two years ago that the Crowborough area was home to a training camp linked to terrorist offences in Yemen.
The Home Office said it never commented on operational matters.
