Giant skipper Tony Parsons today told team-mates: "Give me the ball and let's get moving."
Second row man Parsons and prop Paul Sparks are supposed to punch the holes which can get Crawley over the gain line.
They hardly got a chance in last week's 32-7 cup humiliation by Petersfield as Crawley forgot the gameplan.
New coach Steve Silver has been trying to knock Crawley into shape after they lost key players during the summer.
Parsons said: "We ignored everything the coach had shown us.
"Petersfield are two divisions below us and they were running rings around us just by playing basic rugby.
"I am 20st and 6ft 6ins and Paul is a big bloke too. We can do damage if we get the chance but we hardly got the ball last week."
Flanker Alan Maybank is back at the club after a short spell at Haywards Heath.
Wing wizard Guy Young has had a knee operation and should be playing by January, which will delight club and county.
