One of the arguments put forward by councillors belonging to the No campaign is that a directly-elected mayor could only be kicked out of power when his or her four-year term of office has expired.
Are these the same councillors elected for four years who voters can only kick out of power after their own four- year terms are up?
Help. I'm confused.
