A second elderly woman has been robbed at an Eastbourne church.
The pensioner had her handbag snatched as she was brass-rubbing at St Mary's in Old Town, Eastbourne.
Last month an attacker left a woman in her 80s sprawled on the ground at St Mary's after snatching her bag.
Police were today examining CCTV footage taken at the 12th Century church.
The navy shoulder bag was stolen at around 3pm on Friday. It contained a purse, camera, keys and credit cards.
The Rev James Vine, curate at St Mary's, said: "It's very sad. We have got all the security measures that we can afford in place, but what can you do?
