Littlehampton Tower have lost their Sussex Super League crown after beaten at home by Crawley Eagles.
Last year's champions failed to hold on to the title when they were beaten 5-4.
Colin Whiley inspired Eagles to victory with a man of the match 29.47 display which helped them clinch the West Division top spot.
John Nisbet checked out on 145 and 140 in Crawley's 6-3 win over Portslade.
Eagles will now play East Division winners Brighton, who survived a 6-3 defeat by Hastings, in the championship play-off.
Reg Harding finished top of the averages with 28.75, winning all his nine matches for Sidley.
Keith Price won all 12 matches for Brighton with 27.01, while Simon Wood and Steve Mecrow were also unbeaten with 12 and ten wins respectively for Littlehampton and Crawley.
Tower Ladies retained their title with 12 wins out of 12.
Trish Kidd topped the averages with 19.27, winning all her 11 matches, while Rhonda West, of Sidley, was unbeaten in 12 matches and Tower's Karen Winter undefeated in ten.
