Albion's Withdean announcer has called for the Seagulls to ban Cardiff fans from the return clash in February.
John Baine wants the club to take tough action after the way Albion supporters were treated at Ninian Park on Saturday.
Four were allegedly attacked in the car park outside the ground before the 1-1 draw.
Albion fans were kept inside after the game as part of an agreement between the clubs to ensure their safety.
Cardiff supporters waited for them and they needed police escorts to coaches, cars and trains.
Baine, speaking on the North Stand Chat web site, said: "Until Cardiff fans sort out their disgusting element then as far as I am concerned they should have no rights.
"As PA announcer I have no interest in welcoming the travelling fans of Cardiff to Withdean in February. I'd far rather see the tickets go to our loyal fans."
The reputation of Cardiff fans reduced Albion's travelling support to around 300. Chief executive Martin Perry said: "Our biggest concern is that Cardiff City themselves apparently do not think there is a problem.
"I am collecting comments from supporters and we will consider what measures need to be taken for the February match. We need to make a judgement in conjunction with Sussex Police and the Football League.
"We couldn't just ban Cardiff supporters and that is not necessarily the right thing to do anyway."
