A teacher is retiring after working at the same Mid Sussex school for 37 years.
Arthur Earl has been at Thomas Bennett Community College in Crawley for most of his working life.
To mark his retirement the college is hosting a farewell party and will make a special presentation.

In 1966, he was appointed housemaster to Roberts House in the lower school.

In 1973 Mr Earl was appointed youth and community tutor and two years later he took on the post of part time principal of adult education.
In April 1978, he became community tutor with responsibility for the whole community education programme for Thomas Bennett, including the role of head of adult education.
