A web site has been set up to co-ordinate support for a charity football match in memory of a victim of the US terrorist attacks.
The Robert Eaton Memorial Match takes place at Southwick Football Club on November 9 between Albion fans and supporters of rivals Crystal Palace.
Anyone who can help with sponsorship, donations or raffle prizes is being asked to contact the organisers via the site, at seagullsound.total-albion.com The game is being organised in honour of dedicated Seagulls follower Mr Eaton, who worked in the World Trade Centre and is among the thousands presumed to have died on September 11.
The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund has been established to channel proceeds from the match into a new football academy for poor children, being set up in New York by Mr Eaton's wife Jacqui.
Fund spokeswoman Roz South said: "The match is intended to be a very special occasion and the organisers are delighted to see how much support and help has been offered in such a short time but more help is still needed.
"We hope the new site will make it easier for people to get in touch."
