I fail to understand the involvement of Roger French in the politics of this city while saying it is only in the interest of Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company and passengers.
Perhaps he could explain how a mayor will allow him to more easily fill the drivers vacancies caused by high property prices and buoyant job market or give Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company the intelligence to send double deck buses on morning commuter routes instead of the singles they often use.
Will the mayor stand at the Steine in the morning directing traffic so his buses run on time? A rare treat.
Would the extra costs incurred by a mayor and his cronies not lower the subsidies available to Mr French's company?
Come on, Mr French, either admit your political interests or focus your efforts on sorting out the bus service you claim to provide.
