The Duchess of Gloucester will officially open a school department during a whistle-stop tour of Worthing.
The royal visitor will tour the music, drama and English facility at Davison High School for Girls in Worthing before unveiling a plaque next Thursday.
The Duchess will launch a Techno Bus which aims to provide access to IT, literacy and numeracy projects in rural areas of the county.
Other stops on her visit will include Centenary House where the Worthing offices of West Sussex County Council and the Highdown Division of Sussex Police are based.
The Duchess will meet staff during a tour of the building before unveiling a plaque.
Her final stop will be Worthing Fire Station where the Duchess will meet members of the Fire Brigade Cadet Unit.
