This is breast cancer awareness week and because my husband has breast cancer (yes, I did say husband) I would like to say thank you to a few people.
Firstly, to my colleagues at the Institute for Employment Studies who have been so supportive during this difficult time.
Secondly, to our families and many friends who have helped to keep us positive.
Thirdly, and most importantly, to my sister who has given us so much help (particularly by looking after our many animal friends) while Mike and I attended clinics for tests and during my visits to see Mike while he has been in hospital over the past week.
She is the best sister in the world (no arguments, please) and we couldn't have managed without her. Thank you, Sandy.
