England coach Duncan Fletcher has vowed not to let suspicions surrounding James Kirtley's bowling action influence his team selection.
England play their final one-day international against Zimbabwe today.
Fletcher said: "James' name will go in the hat for the match like everybody elses and once Nasser and I have had a chat we'll pick the side, but whether he plays or not will have nothing to do with this."
The Sussex fast bowler has been reported to the International Cricket Council by match referee Colonel Naushad Ali for a suspect bowling action a week after he first raised concerns about its legality in the opener for the five-match series in Harare.
After studying television footage of Kirtley and seeing him in action again during England's victory on Wednesday, Colonel Ali has elected to make his concerns official.
Meanwhile, captain Nasser Hussain will make a pressing appointment with England's administrators as soon as he returns from Zimbabwe to determine whether their forthcoming tour to India should take place.
Hussain is due at Lord's for a selection meeting to discuss the personnel who will compete in the one-day series in India and New Zealand as soon as he steps off the plane on Monday morning.
But he will also use the opportunity to press ECB chairman Lord MacLaurin and chief executive Tim Lamb to make a quick decision on their forthcoming Test tour to India, which is due to begin on November 13.
