So the Mayor of Telscombe Cliffs, Ray Goodall, would like the residents of Telscombe to pay extra council tax to compensate for vandalism in the area.
Does this mean if vandals attack my property or garden I will be compensated? I doubt it.
We are already charged one of the highest rates of council tax in Sussex yet I have never seen a beat bobby in this area.
How about using some of our high charges to have a couple of them around our neighbourhood? If this was done, maybe there would be less vandalism in the first place.
