Four teenagers girls were assaulted in an unprovoked attack by two men.
One of the 15-year-old girls was punched in the head, knocked to the ground and kicked while the others were punched and received minor injuries.
Police say the attack was unprovoked and are appealing for witnesses to the assault which took place at the junction of Cavendish Avenue and Marine Parade, Eastbourne between 9pm and 9.30pm on October 12.
One of the offenders is described as a dark, European male, approximately 5ft 8in and of average build.
He had black hair down to his cheekbones with a centre parting and was wearing a dark coloured shirt, black jeans and possibly trainers.
Eastbourne police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and contact them on 0845 6070999.
