A man has appeared in court charged with making eight hoax bomb threats.
Neil Bartlett, 28, of Bewley Road, Angmering, appeared at Worthing Magistrates Court yesterday accused of communicating false information alleging the presence of bombs on eight occasions between April 9 and August 21.
Bartlett spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
No application for bail was made and stipendiary magistrate Barbara Barnes remanded Bartlett in custody until October 30.
