Friends and neighbours have paid tribute to a Mid Sussex man who died when his car hit a tree.
Brian Harris, 47, a voluntary car service worker for social services, died in an accident on the B2110 at Turners Hill on Monday morning.
Mr Harris, of Temple Grove, Burgess Hill, lost control of his maroon BMW and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A neighbour of Mr Harris, who did not want to be named, said: "He was a good dad, he loved his kids. He had two children, a boy and a girl, both teenagers.
"He lived on his own but he saw them all the time. He always said hello. He liked motorsports with his son. He used to drive people to and from hospital."
Another neighbour and friend said: "He was a good bloke, a good friend and a good mate. He would always do anything for anybody."
Friends said Mr Harris enjoyed driving people to and from hospital and school in his role as a voluntary worker.
