Mark Cannon, of Brighton Health Care NHS Trust, seems to think spending £3 million in the next three years building four en-suite rooms at Brighton General Hospital will help patients (The Argus, October 11).
Recruiting people who have time to help patients eat their food, explain about their medication and comfort them would be more of a benefit to them.
Nurses are wonderful at the Brighton General but lack the time to spend on individual patients' personal needs.
