A barge which capsized off Eastbourne, dumping thousands of tons of rock and a digging machine into the sea, is to be towed away.
The unmanned vessel is thought to have tipped over in strong winds and rough seas, two-and-a-half miles off the resort.
It shed its load of 26,000 tons of boulders, destined for coastal defence works in the area.
Ten days later it still lies upside-down in the sea.
Harbour master Dan Hughes said the barge had not been uprighted because it was still an issue for insurers.
He said: "The latest is that a Dutch company called Smit Tak is bringing a barge carrying a crane to right it within the next ten days."
The stricken vessel will be taken to either Southampton or Gothenburg.
