I have tried very hard to understand why the US and UK think the continuous bombing of the Taliban is going to be the answer.

We drop food to the Afghanis with one hand and bomb them with the other.

After two weeks, we don't seem any nearer to capturing the one man needed. His is such a vast concern, I'm not sure he will ever be caught.

With ground troops, there might be a chance but in spite of so many troops waiting, so far, no great move has been made.

Nothing has been done that can make us say it has all been worthwhile.

I hear many people say they doubt if the US really knows what it is doing. Two wrongs do not make a right.
