Lewes have been dealt an injury blow ahead of next week's FA Cup fourth qualifying round clash with Mangotsfield United.
Winger Peter Brackley has a wrist operation on Monday and will need to rest for at least a fortnight.
Brackley shattered bones in a wrist after being struck by a ball. The incident appeared innocuous but the full extent of the damage has now been revealed.
The former Worthing man joins Ryan Hackett and Cameron Johnson on the sidelines.
Hackett has been sidelined for several weeks with an ankle injury but hopes to return to training in a fortnight. Johnson has also had an ankle problem and has only just begun light training.
The Rooks have no other injury worries at the moment and they have been boosted by the addition of Luke Dowling to the squad. The midfielder signed earlier in the season but needed a shin operation and has been unable to play until now.
Manager Jimmy Quinn is otherwise happy with his squad, although Worthing have revealed that the Rooks boss has made a seven-day approach for Stuart Tuck.
On the departure front, Neil Winter and Conor McCurdy have both moved to County League side Shoreham after failing to secure regular first team places at the Dripping Pan.
With Lewes in action against Oakwood in the FA Vase today, followed by a league game at Marlow on Tuesday, Quinn is urging his players not to get carried away with the FA Cup hype.
He said: "I don't want to go out of the Vase and we also have a hard game at Marlow on Tuesday. It is not the easiest of places to go and get points, so there is plenty else to do before we think about the FA Cup game."
Quinn was also delighted with his young reserve team who crushed Crowborough 13-0 in midweek. Promising trio Warren Byerley, Jamie Sneddon and Chris Ward were among the goalscorers in the rout.
Quinn added: "It was a fantastic performance and the football was tremendous.
"Sometimes, with results like these, it is a case of one team being too physical for the other but this was just down to pure football."
