Am I alone in finding the spectacle of people camping out overnight for a flat in the Argus Lofts slightly obscene (October 18)?
In Brighton and Hove, a large number of people have to sleep rough because they do not have anywhere to live and local young people have little hope of being able to afford a home.
It is offensive to hear prospective loft-dwellers drone on about how they have built a little shelter to protect themselves from the rain while queueing in the cold to put a deposit down for a designer flat.
The coffee and croissants served to those queueing people would have been better donated to one of the city's homeless charities.
