A man suffered cuts and bruises when he was attacked outside a pizza shop.
He was kicked and punched in an apparently motiveless attack outside Pizza Zone in Uckfield High Street at 2.15am on Sunday.
The attacker waded in with several punches until a woman who was with him intervened.
