Rabble: Disorderly, assemblage, a mob, the lowest class of people, a contemptible or inferior set of people; rabble rouser, a person who stirs up the rabble in agitation for social or political change.
The writer of the editorial doesn't know of the meaning of basic English or was intent on being discourteous.
I am proud of being one of the 37,214 who voted No.
This was an idea of Tony Blair, who had Parliament recalled to hear the Government's intentions in the present war against terrorism but although a "debate" on the war was held, MPs were not allowed to vote.
As Abraham Lincoln stated: "You can fool all people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all people all of the time."
