The Voice Of The Argus was a disgrace to journalism and the 60 per cent of people who took part in the vote.

To call them "a rabble" and their representative councillors as "disenchanted and disenfranchised no-hopers" is beyond belief.

I can only believe that having formed Messrs Bassam, Fanshawe, French and the new boy Caplin into some kind of mythical quartet that was vital to Brighton, Hove and Portslade, The Argus has the biggest bunch of sour grapes ever seen.

I am, by the way, a true Hoveite who was born and has lived here all my 65 years.
