While travelling on public transport in Greece last June, the driver had no compunction in turfing off the bus some unruly youngsters.
There was no quibbling - they knew the rules and had broken them.
Equally, when travelling on public transport in the United States, I ... well, people simply don't behave badly.
The drivers are in control, not the passengers. Maybe that is the difference?
