I have two sons attending Telscombe Cliffs County Primary School and would like to offer my wholehearted support to head teacher Andrew Kearsey with regard to the issue of Natasha Thoday.
Children are under a great deal of pressure to perform well at school and to add additional pressures such as this is unacceptable.
The children see Mr Kearsey as an icon, somebody to look up to and respect. This should be encouraged and nurtured.
The Argus portrayed Mr Kearsey as an unfeeling sexist. If this is the case then I and many parents of the school must be unfeeling sexists too, as I believe Mr Kearsey took the right course of action and one that should be applauded.
