Liz Solkhon's article (October 22) supporting the campaign to retain surgical services for the treatment of breast cancer in Brighton is incorrect in stating the radiotherapy and chemotherapy services will also be moved to Haywards Heath.
I wish to bring to readers' attention that nothing could be further from the truth and that these services will be staying in Brighton.
Indeed, a multi-million pound investment is underway to provide state-of-the-art radiotherapy equipment for the treatment of all types of cancer for the residents of Sussex.
