Sidley are on the hunt for another striker to bolster their frontline.
Joint-manager Glenn Sully said: "We are trying to find another forward. This is not a slight on the lads we have playing up front but we want to create more competition."
The defending County League double winners have been hampered by injuries and unavailability throughout the season with key figure Paul Balch missing a succession of games due to injury and his work commitments as a fireman.
Teenager Dave Carey was partnered up front with the prolific Peter Baker in the 7-0 midweek romp over Southwick, while veteran co-manager Peter Heritage has been used sparingly.
Sully said: "If we had Paul Balch available all the time, Peter Baker, Dave Carey and Pete Heritage making his cameo appearances, we would be alright. But with the Balchy situation we are trying different things to bring in another forward."
With Jimmy Watson, brother of Albion's Paul out with an injured knee, and the side also missing Paul Sully and Wayne Farrier, the joint-boss is quite happy with current form.
He said: "We're really pleased with how we are doing because we do not resemble the side we were putting out last year as we are at least two to four regular players short depending on each game."
Horsham YMCA may have unearthed a marksman in Russell Harwood, whose clinical hat-trick against Rye took him to five goals in three games.
The 21-year-old striker has impressed since being promoted from the reserves and boss John Suter said: "He's big, strong and good in the air."

Selsey boss Danny Hinshelwood saw his side produce ther best display of the season, then crash back to earth.
Hinshelwood enjoyed the 2-0 FA Vase defeat of Chessington and Hook but offered no excuses for the 4-0 Floodlight Cup hammering by Burgess Hill.
He said: "The players let themselves down a bit after performing so well but it's just a blip. Both teams had players missing on Tuesday but Burgess Hill were unbelievably good."
