Chichester Diocesan Housing Association (CDHA) is launching the East Brighton Seniors Community Project on November 23 at 2.30pm, at The Bridge Community Education Centre.
This project, managed by local people, is specifically aimed at supporting older people in the New Deal for Communities area to develop activities and services.
The project is already working with the award-winning Cyber Seniors and Seniors Network.
We are hoping to find a small group, or couple, of older people, residents of Moulsecomb, Whitehawk, Saunders Park or Bates Estate who have musical talent.
We are looking for people who could play a few tunes or songs for us at the launch event to help it go with a swing.
This event will be held during the day at The Bridge, the new community education venue in Moulsecoomb in Lucraft Road next to Falmer School.
We are really hoping to find someone local so please don't hide your light under a bushel.
We will, of course, cover all expenses and can arrange transport if needed.
If you could help us or you know someone who may be interested, please contact me at CDHA on 01273 234250.
And please call if you would like more information about the project or the event.
