Police are appealing for anyone who knew a man found dead at his home to contact them.
The body of Roger Gristwood, 56, of Merewood Court, Carew Road, Eastbourne, was found on October 12. Police believe he may have been dead for some time.
Coroner's officers are trying to build up a picture of his life and want anyone who knew him to contact them.
Dentists have been urged to check if he was registered with them.
Mr Gristwood is believed to have had links with the Conservative Party in the area.
Police also want to contact friends and family of George Skiggs, of Queen's Approach, Uckfield, who was found dead at home on October 22.
Mr Skiggs, 74, has been formally identified but officers are trying to trace his next of kin. Police are not treating either death as suspicious.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0845 6070999.
