Albion star Bobby Zamora is still undecided about his international future.
The prolific young striker's father could persuade him to opt for Trinidad and Tobago rather than England.
The Argus revealed last week that Albion boss Peter Taylor had spoken to Zamora about England under-21s and was "pushing him for that route."
Zamora also qualifies to play for Trinidad and Tobago through his father.
"England under-21s would be nice," Zamora said. "He (Taylor) obviously has some say, although he hasn't got the final decision.
"Trinidad and Tobago came in for me last year, but as we were doing so well I had to snub them then.
"I've still got to think about it. I let my dad know what is happening in my career and I know he wouldn't mind me playing for Trinidad and Tobago."
Zamora, on target in each of the last three away League games, bids to add to his extraordinary tally of 48 goals in 72 appearances for Albion tomorrow.
He returns to Bristol for the top-of-the-table clash against fourth-placed City after signing for the Seagulls from their arch-rivals Rovers along with in-form keeper Michel Kuipers.
Taylor, undefeated in four matches so far, was interviewed for the manager's job at Bristol City two years ago before Tony Pulis was appointed. He took over instead from Pulis at Gillingham and was then linked, although not interviewed, for the Ashton Gate post again prior to taking charge of Leicester.
"I am sure I could have got that job," Taylor said. "I know Scott Davidson, who was the chairman then, very well and the current chairman John Laycock, and they are both good people.
"It's a good club with a great manager in Danny Wilson. They've got a nice balance of youth and experience and will have their crowd behind them, so we know we have got to be right ourselves."
Taylor's Leicester team beat Bristol City 3-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup last season.
Danny Cullip and Simon Morgan both trained yesterday after recovering from knee and head injuries and they are expected to resume their partnership in the centre of defence.
Paul Brooker is likely to get the nod over Nathan Jones for the left wing role.
