I am sure all the thousands of genuine football fans throughout the South would like to congratulate Lewes FC on their wonderful achievement in attaining a first-round spot in the FA Cup and to wish them the best of luck against Stoke.
It does look as though they will have to forgo home advantage for financial reasons and play at the super Britannia Stadium - so isn't it a pity the super community stadium at Falmer is not up and running so Lewes could play at a venue commensurate with their achievements and in front of thousands of their fans and well-wishers.
With good sense, the anti-stadium lobby will be defeated so similar achievements will be appreciated and rewarded in the future.
