Goal king Bobby Zamora was fit to face Brian Horton's Port Vale at Withdean today.
Zamora had been doubtful after straining a hamstring tendon in last Saturday's 1-0 win at promotion rivals Bristol City.
The only Albion change was on the bench, where Paul Brooker was preferred to Geoff Pitcher.
Horton, the inspirational captain during Albion's glory era of the late Seventies and early Eighties, made two changes to the Vale side which completed a hat-trick of victories at home to Bury last Saturday.
A one-match ban ruled out midfielder Neil Brisco, while former Liverpool teenager Ian Armstrong was rested to the bench.
They were replaced by youth team product Liam Burns and the experienced Phil Hardy, signed in the summer from Wrexham.
Much of the talk before the match was about the reception Horton would receive from Albion fans.
As it turned out the massed ranks in the uncovered south stand gave him a standing reception.
