Brighton and Hove Albion's training ground soap opera is entering its final episode.
The Seagulls are scheduled to go back to the University of Sussex at Falmer in nine days' time.
Chief executive Martin Perry revealed: "If all goes well November 19 is the date we are hoping to return. The work on preparing the pitches is being finalised now.
"Peter (Taylor) has been up there. He is very anxious to get back and so are the players. They want a permanent base and we recognise that."
The return to training headquarters will bring to an end a four-month saga, during which Albion have been at four different sites.
Taylor's managerial predecessor Micky Adams was dissatisfied with the state of the pitches at the University of Sussex when the players reported back for pre-season training in July.
The Seagulls immediately switched to Ardingly College near Haywards Heath, but they had to leave there in mid-September once the College re-opened to students.
Adams was still not happy with the condition of the University of Sussex pitches, which are maintained by Withdean Stadium managers Ecovert.
The club struck a temporary deal with Brighton University to use their facilities at Falmer, but the situation degenerated into farce last month when those pitches were unavailable.
The players had to mingle instead with toddlers in Preston Park as they prepared for the visit of League leaders Brentford.
Albion moved again to Christ's Hospital School in Horsham shortly before Taylor's appointment and they have been there ever since.
Taylor said: "Christ's have been first class. They got us out of a hole and we really appreciate that, but it's mega-important that we get back to our base.
"I regard myself as a tracksuit manager, so I need good pitches to make sure we prepare right and I need an office.
"I have been up to Falmer and it's going to be fine once the work is done. I know the club are doing everything they can."
Huddersfield drew 2-2 against visiting Notts County last night to remain sixth in the Second Division and seven points behind Albion prior to today's game.
