The future of a famous art deco seafront building will be discussed at a meeting.
Embassy Court, a listed building in urgent need of repair, stands at the junction of King's Road and Western Street in Brighton.
The discussion will be at the Sallis Benney Theatre in Grand Parade on Tuesday at 7pm.
It is being presented jointly by the Regency Society and the University of Brighton School of Architecture and Design.
Alan Powers, a leading light in the 20th Century Society, will give a talk on the significance of the court in the context of the work of architect Wells Coates.
Local architect Alan Phillips, who recently appeared on Channel 4's Grand Designs, will argue the case for conserving the unique Brighton building and will describe his proposals for refurbishment.
Argus columnist Adam Trimingham will put the case for demolition.
The meeting is free to members of the Regency Society. Tickets are available on the door at £5 for non-members.
