Crawley coach Brian Owen was "highly satisfied" with his team's performance as they stayed top of the premier division with a 0-0 draw at Stafford.
He picked out goalkeeper Andy Little, Rob Collins and Ben Judge, making his league debut in place of suspended skipper Luke Anderson, and Lee Doherty for individual praise.
He said: "In the first half we were always off the pace but in the second we had four or five excellent chances.
"Andy made a magnificent save to keep us in the game at the end.
"Rob was exciting as always and Ben Judge did his job well in central midfield. Lee impressed at the back, in fact the whole defence performed well."
Danny Carroll (twice), Collins and Warren Bagnall were denied by goalkeeper Karl Ward and Steve Restarick fired over from six yards.
Little earned Town the point by tipping a last-minute lob by Delton Francis over the bar.
