Girl band Masai will top the bill when Crawley's Christmas lights are switched on this Saturday.
The girls, who have just returned from a tour supporting Westlife, will be in town to perform their new single Kickback.
The town's countdown to Christmas starts with Father Christmas and his reindeer parading through the town centre from 11.30am.
He will make his way from the Memorial Gardens, through Queens Square and along the Martlets to the bus station end of County Mall.
He will arrive at his grotto at noon, when he will switch on the mall's festive lights.
During the afternoon there will be a roadshow in Queens Square. Show band Six 'Til Midnight will perform from 4.15pm until 5pm, when Masai will take over.
Tribute band BoyzOnly will be on stage from 5.30pm.
At 6.10pm there will be a firework display and the last firework will trigger the switch for the lights at 6.30pm.
A Crawley Borough Council spokeswoman said: "We are not having a celebrity switch on the lights but have chosen entertainment instead. The event always attracts large crowds."
