As a result of disciplinary action being announced against three Sussex Police officers, I urge all police officers to withdraw their labour and not support this outrageous witch-hunt.
No other police service in the world is castigated as is ours and any young person thinking of joining the police should consider their actions very carefully.
Daily, officers are subjected to harassment through the complaints procedure. No other group of employees would stand for it.
Police officers should be allowed to earn their livelihoods like any other workers, free from the continuous threat of complaint.
It was the greatest injustice ever done to a workplace to introduce the complaints procedure against the police.
It must stop if we want these men and women to give their all to the preservation of law and order.
